Socket Clevis Introduction
As an important linking hardware in the overhead line, the socket clevis is mainly used to connect the suspension clamp and the insulator string and cooperate with other accessories to connect the conductors and insulators. Through the fault analysis of major domestic transmission lines, it can be seen that the paralysis of transmission lines is mainly due to the wear and tear of power fittings in different degrees. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the strength of power fittings and improve and optimize the structure.

Type WS-7 and WS-10 socket clevis are made of malleable iron, other types of socket clevis are made of casting steel, the security clips are made of bronze or stainless steel, cotter-pins are made of stainless steel, and other parts are steel. All ferrous parts are hot-dip galvanized.

The W1-7K socket eye is made of malleable iron, the W1-12K socket eye is made of cast steel, and the security clips are made of stainless steel. All ferrous parts are hot-dip galvanized according to BS729.

The hardware accessories are packed separately in non returnable palletised boxes suitable for overseas shipment to a tropical country. The packing is suitable to withstand rough handling without sustaining damages.
