Thimble Clevis Introduction

The thimble clevis is made of cast iron, hot dip galvanized. The thimble is connected with a preformed dead-end clamp for the tension insulator string, the socket part is connected with the ball end of a composite insulator, glass insulator, or porcelain insulator. The groove size should meet the diameter of the termination dead-end clamp. And socket coupling should match the insulator ball end.

Fitting for tension string equipped by preformed dead end clamp, a thimble clevis is needed for assembly, to combine the preformed dead end and the insulator with tongue and clevis end fittings.
All forgings and castings are good finishing and are free from flaws and other defects. The edges on the outside of fittings such as the eye, clevis, and holes should be rounded.
